He was a good man who righted the Ship of State.
I'm sorry for him and his family that Alzheimer's destroyed his twilight years.
And now a repeat of the Nixon funeral: a whole lot of people suddenly have to find something nice to say about a man they'd demonized for so long.
Hilarious watching the news this evening--they'll say things in eulogy that they'd never whisper at any other time.
