Terrorism In Russia

Kyer has terrific posts on the Russian school siege and its aftermath, the Russian media, and anything else you'd want to know that's related to the topic. Just start at the top and work your way down.

Hats off to him for all the work it took to put that together.

Donnah,

Many thanks for the kind words.

You and all of Florida have been in our prayers throughout the duration of the storm.

I hope you made it through alright!

Thanks, we're fine on my block.

It looks like you've been looking into that subject for a long time.

Actually, Russia (then the USSR) has always been a passion of mine since I was a little boy.

I remember Gorbachev on TV with Reagan and watching the fall of the Berlin Wall and Yeltsin climb up on the tank. Ever since then, I've familiarized myself with the history of the region and some of the politics as well.

So when it comes to matters of media censorship or Russia going backwards to it's old commie ways..it's easy for me to pick up on it. ;)
