I finally saw SEABISCUIT last weekend, and looking at that pops the scene into my head where the trainer tells Spiderman to take the horse out for a run. People have beat the horse and sent him around in circles so much that Seabiscuit's a mess inside. Just let him run and quit when he wants to. Just let him remember how to be a horse.

If you ever need a dog-sitter, we're available.

Thank you, David.

James, that's a good analogy.
She seems to be focusing on being a very silly young dog.

She looks so sweet! :)

She's not!
She just wants to play all the time.

I'm so glad you got her...and I see now why you had to. :-)

She looks pretty happy. Is she "at home" yet?

Posted by: Amy at October 31, 2004 03:57 PM

She acts like she's at home. She's no wallflower. She took over my pillow the second day she was here. This was not the dog who got the hind tit. She puts herself forward. She probably wouldn't have made it any other way.
I don't know if she knows this is her house yet or not.
Did you get my letter, Amy?

QUIT LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT LILLY!!

Posted by: Cindy at October 31, 2004 05:10 PM

No, Donnah, I didn't. :-( That whodathunkit email at hotmail is my "commercial" email, which I use to post on blogs and to do e-commerce and which I (stupidly) blocked some of the bigger, more common free domain names (like yahoo) from back before yahoo cracked down on spammers. Try this one instead.

chinsbob@hotmail.com

In case you're wondering, chinsbob is one of the nicknames I have for my grizzled old kitty, the one who was abused as bad as (or maybe worse than) Miss Lilly before I got him.

Sorry about the email...I'm going to be doing a big address shake-up here pretty soon. I've had these hotmail addresses for years, and I think it's time to move on to another free domain.

BTW, another superb dog training book: "Dog Logic" by Joel McMains. I did Lulu with him (his book), and she turned out real good. He's the one that I got the tip about the dirty t-shirt/undies from. He really knows his stuff. But your pillow may have exactly the same effect. I can't think of something that's got the scent of a person more than her pillow.

Email me again...this one should get through.
