Mystery

This evening I found on the floor a completely flattened can of dog food. It had been emptied of food, yet the pop-top lid was undisturbed. There were teeth marks on the side.

Whoever did this was either drunk or had no opposable thumbs.

I'm not sure I get it, but my dogs (or either the spirits) did rearrange the furniture in my den one morning, and none-to-neatly either.

You may have a poltergeist, Robin.

That can looked like it had been on a railroad track. You ever heard of a dog opening cans with its teeth?

Very strange. I'd recommend forgetting about it as fast as possible.

My paralyzed three-legged fragile flower could possibly be trying out for a role as a James Bond villain.

Happens all the time here - everyone denies any culpability - but our Great Dane just keeps getting bigger? Hmmmm

My dog can crush cans with her jaws. Oh my.

Is your dog part alligator, D?

Give Miss Lilly an egg, Donnah. Leave her alone with it for a while and see if she sucks it. If she does, that will explain your empty, unpopped-top can of dog food. ;-)

She's probably picked up lots of interesting skills during her..."eventful"...life.

Great! Then my dog would be an egg-sucking dog on top of everything else!

Posted by: Donnah at November 11, 2004 11:48 PM

I did it. She layed down right in the same spot where I found the can and she tore right into that egg. When she was done, she ate the shell. I was siting there watching her and burst out laughing. She turned to look at me, and she had an egg shell stuck right in the middle of her nose.

Shiloh was licking at whatever egg molecules were left on the floor, so I gave her an egg too. She kept nosing it aside so she could lick more egg molecules on the floor. I was holding Lilly back, and she was very upset. Finally, after five minutes, I let Lilly go. She went over and had herself another egg. Too funny. I won't be starting up a chicken farm any time soon.

I'm laughing so hard right now I can barely type... :-) :-) :-)

I'da paid to see it. ;-)

I always kinda liked an egg-sucking dog, myself...but then, I don't got chickens. ;-)
