Hello Cracker: I love your Blog and read it faithfully every night. I do wish you would take a little time to investigate the Dino Rossi situation in Washington State more thoroughly.

Do you remember how the military votes were disenfranchised in Florida 2000, as well as the Democratic controlled State Supreme Court changing the rules after the fact? Well, this is exactly what has happened in Washington. This hand recount has been so rife with fraud and changing votes, white outs on ballots, more votes than registered voters, homeless voting en masse with a single address of the County Elections Office, etc.

I am also reminded about the Daley machine in the 60's election of JFK, where Daley reassured Kennedy that he was not to worry, as they had just enough ballots hidden away to suddenly "find" at the last minute. Again, this has happened here.

If the people of the Ukraine were given their revote, the very least we can do in Washington is give the disenfranchised another crack at it--this time, with uniform voting standards and no changing the rules after the fact.

Judi- I just don't like the way it looks. I'd rather we take the high road. I'm sure there are some nasty irregularities. People are going to remember that come next election.
