According to the Florida Statutes, it's illegal to kill an animal by withholding its food and water. I guess we need a judge to declare Terri Schiavo an animal. It wouldn't be the first time that had to be done in order to protect someone who couldn't protect herself and whom the law had failed.
Dag, her husband sure does want her dead.

He's got another woman and two kids. Like he gives a sh*t.
It's also illegal in Florida to put a human 'to sleep' humanely. No matter what they are suffering. I think we are kinder to our animals than ourselves.
(No, the above diatribe didn't have much to do with Terri. Had a lot more to do with a cousin who died of bone cancer. )
