Civil liberties groups have complained about the combination of data, but Florida says it's necessary for homeland security.
Then we see stories that convicted child molesters live across the street from little girls who disappear in the dark of night, and Florida's database can't link the two for days.
What's going on here - oh, right, government incompetence.
