Eddie Haskell, Take Two

Matt at Overtaken By Events offers a thought-provoking post on bloggers sucking up.
He recommends restraint, as not to appear so obvious about it.

I say what the heck, what's the long-term harm in a little ebullient obsequiousness? Later on you can always hang out on street corners blowing winos until you get your self-respect back.

Sound advice, as always.

Gosh, Donnah, you have the greatest ideas. If I ever want an "Instalanche" I'm going to write about a guy I know who says he thinks he blew Andrew Sullivan in New Orleans while e-reading Robert Heinlein on his Palm!

I had a Sergeant who used to always say that was what he was going to do after retiring from the Army- blow winos 'til he got his self-respect back. LOL.

I have a co-worker who says he blew one of the Shah of Iran's sons- the spare, not the heir.

The 'lanche- People who send in e-mail to discuss some guy's razor...no, I'm not up to meeting their blog needs.
