If I'd have ever acted out like her, my teachers would've beat the crap out of me in an instant. Then I would've got ten times worse when my dad got home.

I'm thinking "when my dad gets home" isn't a phrase this little girl has ever caught herself saying. Her mom, and whoever else brought her into the world, have failed her.
