What's going on in the news today? Damned if I know. Probably something outrageous. For instance, somewhere a writer is tappedy-tapping up a headline that shows he has absolutely zero knowledge of the topic he's expounding upon.
But that can wait as there is outrageous behavior going on in my own home. Despite the fact that this afternoon my dogs had a baked chicken breast each and a saucer of ice cream, a short while ago they converged upon me at their normal supper hour demanding to be fed. It's impossible to type during the converging as there are dog heads coming up from underneath the table, then between my arms to repeatedly knock them away from the computer. If I delay they add sound effects that grow progressively louder and louder until it's a solid wall of shrieks and bobbing, knocking heads.
I re-fed them.
I hope all of you had a peaceful and happy Mother's Day.

Posted by: Salt Lick at May 9, 2005 12:20 PMBaked chicken breasts and ice cream? Can me and my dog come over to your house to eat? I'll bring my Mom, too, if you like.
P.S., my dog also likes a small salad with a specific brand of honey mustard dressing.
RWE, my dogs like the fixings on their hamburgers but I don't think they'd go for a whole salad.
Once I ate the pickle from Shiloh's burger as I was cutting it up for her. She always eats it last, kind of like an afterthought. When she got done eating that burger she looked up and glared at me. She wanted that pickle.
SL, it's talk like that that gets you excommunicated, you know.
