Hurricane Wilma's coming to Florida. What a relief.
Officials will do their jobs and people will freaking cope with life.
Does this mean that...Floridians won't be...yelling about FEMA?!?
I am concerned about the evacuees from Louisiana currently in Florida now being able to double-dip and/or double-complain...> "hurricanes, they're the government's fault!"
O.K., I'm tired and should stop typing now, having nothing of value to contribute.
Posted by: -S- at October 18, 2005 01:20 PMI type when I have nothing to contribute all the time. No biggie. ;)
Floridians damn sure won't be screaming about Whitey's hurricane.
Posted by: Donnah at October 18, 2005 01:35 PMHow does Karl Rove plan to defeat Bill Nelson if he sends his hurricanes here?

Posted by: mike at October 18, 2005 11:23 PMhey, hi ... sorry, but i just need wednesday's duane pic ... please hurry ... it's important to some of us! :-)
Posted by: Fred the Sandcrab Lover at October 19, 2005 01:52 AMI agree. Let the damn thing come in at 200mph for all I care. Right into Tampa Bay.
We'll show those incompetents in Louisiana. We've been through this before. (Heck, we had four just last year.) We'll come through unscathed.
In fact, given FEMA's recent performance, I don't even want them here to screw things up. We can do just fine with Floridian resolve and resources.
Best,
Miranda (in Naples)
200 mph? Don't be ridiculous.
The officials in Louisiana ARE imcompetent. BTW, spare a tear for Mississippi. You know, the state that Katrina actually hit. Those folks didn't make the news. Their governor doesn't mind. He says they're too busy rebuilding anyhow.
