Why do most people think I'm a guy? Is it because I don't put a pic of my titties on the sidebar? What's the deal?
Look under the blog title, folks.
And when you write about me, it's "bitch" and not "bastard". OK?
Posted by floridacracker at November 18, 2005 12:54 AMI used to get that all the time, too, until I included my NAME at the top of my blog. And links to my NAME in my handy, user I.D.
But, unless I include a link to my NAME, I'm always perceived as a male. I really take offense when I'm called "dude" or "pal." I think the accurate response to either is to respond with "jerk" but then I get banned.

Posted by: -S- at November 18, 2005 08:29 AMBut, I don't have a clue as to this "preset to male" thing on the internet. I think unless a female does not include blinking lights, the color pink and some rosey graphics (with wings and bows!), a lot of people just assume you're (or anyone) is male. Who knew it was that easy?
Posted by: -S- at November 18, 2005 08:31 AMDoes this mean we're not going to see that tittie picture now? Damn.
Oh, hi, honey...
Posted by: joe at November 18, 2005 09:41 AMI think a tittie pic would go a long way in straightening out all the confusion.
Posted by: greg at November 18, 2005 10:43 AMFor the record, Donnah, I never thought you were a guy. At least, I don't remember that I did. But maybe that's just because I'm a Cracker, too, and not a dumb-ass Yankee that don't know any better and doesn't have the attention span read the subtitle. 'Pologies to all the good Yanks out there who do.
But perhaps there should be some sex specific designation for us female Crackers, just to help out those with the ADD. Such as "Crackeress"? Or maybe "Crackerette"? "Crackermama", maybe?
Posted by: Amy at November 18, 2005 02:30 PMOr maybe pics of titties?
Posted by: greg at November 18, 2005 03:47 PMChange the blog's title to "Florida Crackerette."
Posted by: Fred at November 18, 2005 04:32 PMJoe & Greg, y'all are too funny.
Maybe I could include a pic of a dimpled cherub surrounded in butterflies in each post's signature.
Or maybe change the signature to 'floridacrackwhore'. I'll keep my options open.
It's because they're mo-rons :)
Posted by: Jess at November 19, 2005 06:55 PMDonnah, LOL. But, may I suggest, entirely without respect I realize, "FloridaCrackHO"?
It does have a certain jolliness to it, dontchyaknow.
