Tim Blair is mid-way through the quotes of the year for 2005 and the stories attached to them. You'll get a kick out of some, and be horrified by others.
This is the end of the year wrap-up I wait for.
And for those not adventurous enough to dive in and have a go at reading them here's one quote:
" “For two years a student newspaper publishes the sad letters of a little girl to her dad in Iraq. She begs him not to die. He does. They also publish her anti-war letters to President Bush. It was all a hoax. No daddy in Iraq, nothing. The reporters checked nothing for two years.”—Florida Cracker"
As seen in the August quotes :)
Posted by: Gmac at January 7, 2006 06:35 PMHee! That pleases me more than you can know. That's two years running that at the end of the year I've been found to have said at least one thing of significance by a blogger I respect and admire.
Thanks for noticing, Gmac.
Congraulations, Donnah. Just got back from reading the qotes. Way to go!
