Barry University student Candice Kenmuir got in touch with her creative side and made beautiful designer duds from local hurricane debris:

An evening gown of shellacked seagrape leaves from a destroyed tree.

This dress is made from a shattered fence.

This lovely creation was fashioned from gathered roof tiles.
The work gloves are a nice touch.
Very nice!
I'd put up one of a tanktop made from old Cheeto's bags, but there are already millions of pictures of Britney Spears on the Internet.
Ouch! The gals look like bag ladies from Skid Drive. What a fashion statement. And I thought that WalMart greeter dude was creative.
Posted by: Trambo at January 16, 2006 01:54 PMYou know, I really liked the leaf dress and the rooftile outfit. She's a clever girl.
Posted by: Donnah at January 16, 2006 11:26 PMDang, those tiles have to itch like a mudder, though. But I guess it kind of redefines "wash and wear"...

Your best line ever? Perhaps.
