I'd venture a guess that when the suffragettes marched in the streets, this sort of thing isn't quite what they had in mind.

Probably not. It's just a personal reaction stemming from years of reading reviews about what amazing feat the 27th left-handed, lactose-intolerant woman did on any given day that 5 million men had already done before her. Too big a deal getting made out of too many things.
