Wednesday's Duane Allman Pic

duanehourglasscropped3450.jpg
Duane with some of the Hourglass.
The tie is wide, but he's holding on, and I do believe he's wearing moccasins.
Wail on, Skydog!

UPDATE
As long as we're discussing footwear, here are some sandals:

hmm..
first time here, and I love it..I dint know they let
REAL Flarda crackers on the inner-nayet.

nice pic...is there a competition I dont know about?
I'd like to enter.

btw you probably already know, Duane Allman was named #2 by The Rolling Stone as the top 100 guitarists of all time..although I wonder what criteria they used...Cobain was # 10, and I couldnt find Chet on the list????huh I guess Heartbreak Hotel just wasnt a big enough seller to get Mr. Atkins any notice.

and just think..all I wanted was to see Michelle Malkin's caroons of Mo, and I find an Allman shrine..

I don't know I think I see a shoelace. Those could be hush puppies.

Is that a tie or a lobster bib?

Posted by: mike at February 8, 2006 11:05 AM

But I think I see leather fringes, Willard. Do (did) hush puppies have those? I have another pic where I could swear he's wearing mocassins. And mocassins can have laces, right? They're soft shoes, how else do they stay on? I haven't seen a pair since I was a kid.

I think that's the widest tie I've ever seen in my whole, entire life.

Owen-Nice to see someone else knows how to correctly pronounce the name of this State.

Wallabies! Doesn't anyone remember freakin' Wallabies? Or is that a little faux-Injun fringe around the ankles?

Donnah, if you're right, those are HIGH TOP Mocs!

And there are lots of types of moccasins, but here are some with fringe:

I was just kiddin' about the hush puppies. The thought of Duane wearing brushed suede shoes gives me shivers.

So would that be the Gamble mansion in the background ?? And maybe Gregg is wearing desert boots ??
