I guess I lied...I forgot to mention, I originally
thought the guaze deal was to take some of the noise out the slide, but after a little experimentation..I am certain it was an anti-sweat deal (bottle being closed at the top) he usually didnt use a pick for slide tho' , but he has one here...;)

You know, I've always thought of Layla as one of the last of the great works from the musical renaissance of 1964-1973 era [I'm wrong though, see below].

That distinctive trailing-off motif that occurs in Layla (the song) (and elsewhere on the album?)always makes me think of something passing away. Hard to believe it came out in December 1970.

I couldn't get rid of the logo without cropping off some of the guitar, so I didn't.
