What did I tell y'all?
Hats off to the reporters who worked on this. They did a great job investigating and their reports kept our minds boggling for a whole year.

Is it too late to get a free generator?
Posted by: Carl in Atlanta at March 10, 2006 02:47 PMWe have to pay the Feds back 25% of what FEMA gives us. Man, were our state legislators pissed about this generator scam. Hopefully, you should not be able to snag a free generator come next storm.

I could use some new siding...
I figure this reporter must have experienced a little 'reversed sour grapes' deal..What a drag, to clean up your yard, haul off trees...pay out the nose for plywood, etc...THREE or FOUR times in a season, and watch some slug make out like a bandit.
A lot of us feel that way, Owen, as we have a right too. If you see someone stealing car and call the police, is that because you're jealous that the thief has a nice new car and you don't?
Bingley-If Austin's expending his big thoughts on a topic, there's no reason for me to waste my tiny little brain sparks on the same.
