Credit Where It's Due

To further underscore that he should be blogging, the post where I used an article sent by reader Dave has won the Watcher's Council award.
Should he blog, he will follow the routine four-step process to success as I've outlined in my book "The Cracker Who Loved Unknown Bloggers Who Are More Talented Than Her":

1) He'll start his little blog.
2) I'll link to him.
3) He'll leave me choking on his dust.
4) I'll weep bitterly.

You go girl. Good choice there. And thanks, Anthony Gonzales for the info.

Hope all is well with Anthony and his friend there.

That Dave guy is pretty sharp, not to mention good looking. Probably helped that he stuffed the ballot box with hanging chads too! The important thing is that Florida Cracker was the only blog that ran that story, so the credit is yours. Hopefully more people will read about Gonzalez - he more than counters the bad news coming from the recent trial of the U.S. Army dog handler.

You won the non-council nominations by a good margin with that post. When this happens it's always a story which really touches the human heart somehow.

And, of course, that one did.
