(i equate Duane with John Coltrane as far as visceral impact. he's a beacon for us back porch pickers! {so why do i sound more like Dickie when i play? :)} mmm, must go listen to "why does love got to be so sad" from the derek and the dominoes album and think about being jarred from the comfort of the "clapton/beck/page are the best white guys ever in rock" piffle i was buying into back in high school.)
