No Day Is Illegal Alien Day

Tell these brazen thieves and terrorists to shove it: go do some shopping today. If you find a place not open, that's your hint to not go there again.

UPDATE:
Babalu has the perfect song for this day.

UPDATE II:
Allah has a great post up, as does Michelle.

UPDATE III:
The counter-protest has begun in my hometown of Fort Myers:

A counter-protest that gets under way at noon in Fort Myers’ Centennial Park has attracted a couple of hundred people and 1,000 chairs have ordered by people to represent someone "at work."

Counter protestors are holding signs reading “What Part of Illegal Don’t You Understand.” There is music playing loud in the sound system throughout the park. Playing songs like “Hit the Road Jack” and “I Fought the Law and the Law Won.”

The chairs in Centennial Park have signs taped to them reading “I’m Working, I’m Legal, and I Vote.” These chairs have all been reserved by people who support today’s CARL March (Criminals Against Restrictive Laws).

Mandy Connell, host of a morning show on 1240 WINK News radio said the 1,000 chairs weren’t enough. The last count she had was for 1,050 chairs for people who are working and couldn’t be at the protest.

In response to the argument that without illegal immigrants some of the country’s toughest jobs wouldn’t get done, Connell had this response.

“I am against amnesty. Securing the southern border has to be done first,” Connell said. “Historically speaking it’s been proven over and over again that in times of scarcity we found ways to get the work done. That was some of the same arguments that were given for slavery.”

As for the boycott, melon and tomato harvesting and scattered construction projects — including the North Star Yacht Club in Fort Myers —have slowed down, but clearly there will be no impact today like that of April 10.

Though I'm not in the US, I wonder why I should lift a finger over here to defend it if the people we send to Washington are throwing open the door because they feel intimidated by mobs of illegal aliens they have allowed inside.

It would appear that federal laws designed to protect our sovereignty, provide security, protect workers from unfair labor practices, provide for Social Security funding, and levy taxes, among other things, can be set aside when politicians are afraid to enforce these laws. That goes for the state and local laws that are getting blown off left and right as well.

Honest to God, I'm sitting here in another land watching someone raise a foreign flag in my own country, fly my flag upside down, and trash the National Anthem. It is insane.

I'm watching corporations excuse workers for the day so that they can maintain good relations with what amounts to an underclass of laborers that will work for cash under the table. The IRS should be all over these companies because they certainly are not putting up the proper Social Security contributions for workers they don't report.

Legal immigrants we need. Illegal immigrants and the people that support them are dangerous enemies. I don't have a problem with trying to get illegal aliens proper and legal documentation, if for no other reason than to keep them from being abused. If they meet the test, then bienvenidos, amigos. But it is an outrage for someone to come into my country and tell me what I have to do to make them happy.

My senator is on board with me but I'm going to ride him to make sure he stays that way. While these "reconquista" idiots are clogging the streets and trying to hurt the US, I'm going to be writing all of my elected officials - federal and state - and driving home the point that I will send my money to whomever runs against them if they do not stand up and defend the border. If you've read this far, I hope you'll do the same.

In other words, since I can't shop in US stores, I aim to tell my elected officials, who in their own legal, yet disgusting way, seem to be on the sales rack, what I will buy from them and who I'm sending my money to if they don't get the point.

Racism and hate are the true anti-American terrorisms. Sorry cracker, you are in the wrong in this one.

Look who sailed in on a Technorati 'immigration' tag. You know nothing about me other than you disagree with me. Must be time to villify.

What tired rhetoric. Have you considered "escaping to Canada" as you recommend on your website?

If you want to take a good look at racism and hate, I'd suggest you visit Aztlan, Raza, and MEChA.

Illegal aliens, don't let the door hit you in the ass.

reasoninrevolt,

By supporting illegal immigration you are supporting the exploitation of human beings. Human traffickers exploit desparate people. The illegal sex industry is full of exploited women and children. Are you OK with that? Is it racist or hateful to be against forcing people into subhuman working conditions?

The people that hide behind the race card on this issue, "reasoninrevolt", are hiding from the facts. If migrant workers are legally documented then they don't have to suffocate in the back of semi-truck or march to a slow death in a desert wasteland. Legal migrant workers can travel safely to their jobs. They can reside safely within the US.

Your "argument" puts them at risk of losing their lives in a treacherous journey and for what, so you can get a cheaper rate at some ratty hotel?

You need to go to Mexico and travel that route pal and then show up for work so that some non-racist, unhating weasel can sell your sweat for pennies on the dollar. Or you could just stop being a tool.

I don't think I could have expressed it any better that tfhr has already.
Illegal immigration is just that, and to ignore it is folly.

The new xenophobes out there - namely those who want to stage 'ethnic protest' and wave the Mexican flag in favor of open borders, amnesty, and the balkanization of America.

For your information (since these new xenophobes lack any grounding in history or integrity - after all we kicked Mexico's ass in 1848), we are first a nation of laws and second we are a nation who has embraced the melting pot, not the balkanization of America.

Try this, apply for immigration and if you truly want to make a difference in your communist inspired May Day protest - protest the socialist, psuedo Marxist, Mexican government that you fled because they have created this probelm!

If you can make it across the Arizona desert, you're strong enough to stay home and change your OWN "rights".
