Party Poopers

Two deputies responding to a complaint about a noisy party almost got shot by an obnoxious party-goer -- another deputy.
Deputy Howard Howell's belligerence initially earned him a pepper spray to settle. Instead he settled on shooting the cop who sprayed him.
He's now suspended and charged with a list of offenses, including aggravated assault with a firearm on a public official.

He was also cited for loud music.

Would it be that all were treated in the same manner he was by the officers that went to the scene.
I'm willing to bet if I were to point a pistol at an officer I'd be dead faster than you could blink.
I'm also curious as to why when he was pepper sprayed he wasn't arrested?
Is this telling the general public that some laws and interprations of those laws apply to one group and not another?
Sure looks that way to me.

The fact that he was sprayed but not arrested struck me as odd too. I think they were just trying to get him to settle down and cut him some slack for being law enforcement too. Until he pulled a gun on them.

The officer that was arrested recently pulled me over for speeding. He told me he was going to do me a favor and write a racing ticket instead, as that was cheaper for me. Only after doing a little research myself, did I find out that a racing citation was in fact a misdemeanor carrying a license suspension and some pretty hefty fines. I have contacted the officer and I am trying to get the case dismissed. Any time I have spoken with him, he has been very unprofessional and does not seem to know his stuff. The fact that he now did this does not surprise me one bit. Hopefully this incident will help expedite the process of getting my charges dropped and gettting a bad officer taken out of his patrol car.
