Ward Churchill Fired

Did Walking Eagle foul his nest once too often?:

The University of Colorado announced Monday that it will dismiss controversial professor Ward Churchill.

"Today, I issued to Professor Churchill a notice of intent to dismiss him from his faculty position at the University of Colorado Boulder," CU Interim Chancellor Phil DiStefano said Monday afternoon.

Churchill has 10 days to make a request to have the university president or chancellor forward the recommendation to the faculty senate Committee on Privilege and Tenure. A special panel will then conduct hearings on the matter and make a recommendation to the president on whether grounds for dismissal are supported.

Another committee found Churchill guilty of research misconduct and another panel recommended that he be fired because of "repeated and deliberate" infractions of scholarship rules.

Churchill had vowed to go on the warpath if fired, and has ten days to appeal the school's decision.

Actually..it's a mixture of both. Maybe now he can open that double dreamcatcher roadside stand he's
always telling folks about.

It's guys like him that think that their evolutionary process in time makes them brighter visions of the future than say..Thomas Jefferson.

And the nice thing about this is they're beating him with his own (snicker) writting that he so blatantly plagarized, not his crackpot statements.

I was pleased to see how thorougly nailed he was on MULTITUDE of plagiarism charges.

the truly unfortunate aspect of this story is, it's
indicative of the 'curriculum' being blabbered.

So, instead of giving a young person a decent grip
on reality, they come out of college pseudo-revolutionary thinkers... didn't we do this once before ?
