High School's deans and administrators still forced
haircuts on students. John Kay and Steppenwolf were accusing the feds of not "caring about your sons and daughters". Cokesnuff was for sale at corner jiffy stores. (fake candy cocaine, presumably used for 'cut')
Anybody that dressed like that was a marked man for the 'pigs' to harass...
Donnah, when I ran across that first pic of this gig, it sure looked 'highschoolish'. I wonder what tunes they were doing... I would bet they were using as much of Hourglass' material as could be stomached, laced with BB and Elmore covers. But I am curious what others might think.
The June 1970 Billboard was mostly 'Hair' 'Jesus Christ Superstar' etc. It must have been a memorable show for those Adlanna kids..wow.
