Lying For The Betterment Of Mankind

Not too much of a surprise: Cindy Sheehan lied to buy land in Crawford.
Having a proxy present himself as a Katrina victim in order to effect the sale isn't far off the truth, really. Cindy was a victim of both Katrina and Rita's headline-stealing ways.

Oh, she's a clever minx.

If nothing else, Sheehan is consistent. Promoting herself and her views through the suffering of others is pretty much what she is about.

I'd be surprised if she built more than a collection of shanties on the property but whatever ends up going on it, I wonder how long it will be before she invites her friends over for a visit. Can you imagine Hugo Chavez stopping by for the house-warming or better yet, that whack job Betty Williams?!

When I was a kid in the 60's, there was such a collection of loons vying for media attention. I never thought it could be topped, but folks like Sheehan and Inflated-Scrotum Man have got them beat.

I'll take the Yippies and the Chicago Eight over this bunch any day.

Inflated Scrot-man?

You haven't seen him in pics of San Francisco protests?

That explains it - I see the words "San Francisco" and "protest" lined up in the same sentence and I seldom read further and I don't click anything! But it couldn't be any worse than that EVH on meth photo, at least I hope not.

You obviously haven't seen him.
Spare your eyes the horror and never visit:

So can the original holder of the property invalidate the sale? Just wonderin'.

I guess I'm too late. The link goes nowhere and I couldn't find anything online about the story. What exactly did she do?

Never mind. Found it. :)

Looks like a problem on their end. A switch to the archive didn't carry over in the link. I refound the article there and updated my link to it.
