Why the Chinese shouldn't sing "China Grove" (or the Japanese, in this case).
The band's kicking out the jams, though.
I'll say it again (because an earlier attempt was not successful or dropped, possibly) because it is a valid point: These guys could have been at least half as successful as "Pink Lady & Jeff". And as before, out of respect for your readers, I have not thrown in a link to prove the point.
Posted by: tfhr at July 29, 2006 06:51 AMI had the pleasure of doing the Lighting for the Doobie Brothers once. They came into my hotel, Bally's Las Vegas, without a lighting director.
Since I was very familiar with their music, I was able to do a pretty good job.
Apparently they enjoyed it.

And so did their management.

"Particularly outstanding"!
Very nice, RG.
I might be one of the few people to have sat through an episode of Pink Lady and Jeff. I believe I set a new personal record for length of time spent puzzled.
But seriously, this band sounds pretty good. Their timing is really good. The mix is a little off, but other than that they're rockin'. The singer's hilarious. I think I'll upload this one to Youtube.
Posted by: Donnah at July 29, 2006 12:07 PMIt is apparent that while music is a universal language, English is not.
Posted by: Willard at July 30, 2006 06:01 PMI love the singer's expressions. He's really feeling cool.
