Dogs can sniff out cancer. Evidence that was once anecdotal, tests have now shown to be true.
In the future when you go in for your yearly check-up, you might first have to have a sniff test.
Meanwhile, they're still pretty good at sniffing out bad guys:
A handcuffed fugitive eluded police for over seven hours before being caught by a dog which took a real bite out of crime.The fugitive, wanted on charges connected to abuse of his pet dog, was brought down by a K-9 unit.
A K-9 Officer Losco dispensed a little street justice before bringing the fugitive in.
