JonBenet

Could be a whole lot of nothing. I don't think any of us who aren't on the investigating team know if this is really the case-cracker. Suspect John Karr is being alibied by his ex-wife for the time of the killing.

I know exactly what you mean but there seems to be mixed reports out there in the MSM. At first I thought, "no they have the wrong guy" because Karr's brother was on FOX news talking to Greta and talking about his brother being a stand up guy and regular person (of course I know it's his brother taking) and then next thing I know, later in the evening on another channel I hear the dude has been interested in Thailand or Taiwan or some sex crazed crime country for some serious sex crimes.

Weird, I can't make heads nor tails of it really.

Quote in today's story:

"An American man arrested in Bangkok in connection with the 1996 death of JonBenet Ramsey told reporters this morning that he was with the 6-year old when she died but that her death was "an accident.""

"I loved JonBenet. She died accidentally," John Mark Karr, 41, told a scrum of reporters as he was led away by Thai law enforcement authorities in Bangkok. Asked if he was innocent, he replied "no." He offered only "no comment" when asked for further details.

The initial remaining questions are:

1. Is this guy wacky enough to make up stories.

2. How did he get access to the Ramsey's house, and what relationship did he have with the Ramseys?

When he went out to California, it was to Petaluma, Polly Klast's town. There was no teaching position there. He was just a sub.
Everyone's saying he researched the murders.
Maybe he's just a freak obsessed with this stuff. Either he was in Colorado that Christmas or he wasn't. The ex-wife divorced him after he got busted for child porn. I don't know why she'd alibi him as being in Alabama during the crime.
He might just be mentally ill and wishing to be in the center of things.

He could immerse himself in his fantasy by confessing. Then he'd get to talk JonBenet 24/7.

The guy got busted in Thailand for hiring child prostitutes. Once in custody there he quickly realized ''Y'know, I'd rather deal with the US justice system than the Thai one''. And that's why he confessed to the murder of JonBenet.
Thailand is a poor country, they are more than happy to have a US Marshall fly in to take him off their hands.
Once in custody here he'll likely claim that the confession was beaten out of him over there.
Also if it turns out the DNA doesn't match (plus the testimony of relatives rules him out as the actual killer) any case against him falls apart.
In short, we rescued him from a Thai prison.
We should have left him there to (literally) rot.

It seems that a few Thai children have been rescued..at least from him. You know..of all the places one might expect to be able to 'purchase rare items' ..and of all the people to find in one of those 'places', I mean.. the 'game' in the Deerhunter, etc. So if someone wanted to buy a child snuff film, I guess Thailand might be a place to look. And this guy says he was "with her when she died, and it was an accident" ??

I'm not sure I want to know, unless it involved Bill Clinton. Better yet, we should expedite this whole thing and just give him three years in the general prison population, in Alabama. That should do it.
