Tem-blor!

Did you feel the earthquake?

A strong earthquake rumbled in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday and was felt across the southeastern United States, the U.S. Geological Service said.

The quake, with a magnitude of 6.0, came from about 6.2 miles (10km) below the Gulf surface, about 250 miles south-southwest of Apalachicola, Florida.

The tremor hit at 10:56 a.m. EDT (1456 GMT) and was felt in parts of Florida, Louisiana, Georgia and Alabama. Media reports from Tampa, Florida, said residents reported feeling their buildings vibrate for up to 20 seconds.

They're tracking locations, so if you did, you can report it here.

I've felt two big quakes before, the Loma Prieta in California 1989 and the more moderate, if completely unexpected Roermond in Germany in 1992. This one didn't make it to my house.

My wife started yelling from the bedroom where she was supposed to be taking a nap...and says " The house is shaking"...etc. She tried to convince me the lamps (an extensive collection) were jiggling..

I attributed it to the game..

I didn't feel a darn thing. :/
We have 'tremors' here and God help us all if the New Madrid Fault pops again.
The DU'ers truely are beyond insane, expect a run on tin foil as they add extra layers to further block reality rays.

God, that cracked me up, Owen. I can just imagine. Well, actually, I've done it. I could talk about my two earthquakes all day.

Yeah, the DU'ers are mad things, G.
