Penguin Season Opens Early In Somalia

Her identity still unreleased, she was said to be one the longest-serving foreign members of the Catholic Church in Somalia:

An Italian nun was shot dead at a hospital by Somali gunmen Sunday, hours after a leading Muslim cleric condemned Pope Benedict XVI for his remarks on Islam and violence.

The nun, who was not immediately identified, was shot in the back at S.O.S. Hospital in northern Mogadishu by two gunmen, said Mohamed Yusuf, a doctor at the facility, which serves mothers and children. The nun's bodyguard and a hospital worker were also killed, doctors said.

After venting on Anglicans and Greek Orthodox, they finally managed to find themselves a real live Catholic to ice: an elderly nun. Now that took some big men.

I tell ya, this early 21st century has been absolute murder on the word "peace", what with the real attitudes of peace activists and religions of peace and all. I say we just pitch the word and start over. Maybe we could promote "banana" to take its place?

It's pretty effective as a smokescreen. Think how much better PR the SLA could have gotten if they'd called themselves the "Symbionese Peace Army."

Flockwads. Muslims/Islamists/religion of pieces males are very manly when it comes to women in general.

The nuns are leaving Somalia. Who will replace them at the hospital?

I suspect that it will be only the dead and dying.
