Don't take it seriously, Fred. I just have a Baroque sense of humor. For me it brought to mind bloggers, actually. ;)

James, my best friend since childhood (like you and Russ) has a whole collection of oddball friends. Uh...
Anyways, one of them is a blind guy who got that way from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. Of course, he didn't use a shotgun.
He was the most boring blind person I've ever met, btw. Most are great conversationalists.
