A Ticket Written In Lead

The results of the autopsies are in, and I was curious to see exactly how many slugs our cop-killing visitor took subsequent to his routine traffic stop. It looks like the patient developed a fatal case of massive, sudden-onset lead poisoning:

Angilo Freeland, the man who shot and killed Polk County Deputy Sheriff Matt Williams on Thursday, was shot 68 times by SWAT team members, according to an autopsy conducted Friday night.

Newton's third law says that for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. The lawmen's first law, however, says that when someone shoots an officer seven times, then lays the muzzle on his temple and pulls the trigger yet again, they're going to turn him into puddin' when they catch him.

So in the case of the lead-footed Mr. Freeland, it looks like speed really does kill.

The afternoon of the shooting, I was in a very old section of Winter Haven, and I noticed a deputy backing out of his home in his squad car. We were both exiting the community, following the same path.

There is only one way out, comprised of mostly short, hilly, blind driveways, etc. As I turned the first corner behind him, I expected to see at least his car rounding the next corner..... AMAZINGLY, from where I was, you could see all the way to the
entrance area, but he was invisible.

I thought, well he must have gone somewhere else within the subdivision, wrong.

After I got back into mainstream traffic, every
cop I saw was on gliders.

Sickeningly enough, I noticed that liberal rag, the Legger (owned by the times) has a community forum full of people blaming Bush for this guy's
murder...yeah, thats right... Freeland's *murder*.

Yeah, I registered for the Ledger forum so I could get my licks in.

Did you see the quote from Sherrif Judd?

"I suspect the only reason 110 rounds was all that was fired was that's all the ammunition they had," Judd said.

Bwahahaha!

I saw it here: http://scalpelorsword.blogspot.com/

110 shots and they only hit him 68 times. Someone has some range time due.

Does seems a bit excessive. 110 rounds fired? At one guy?

I think you're right, a bit of range time and training is due.

See if you can find the photo of the moss covered fallen tree the guy was dug in under. I suspect that none of them could get a really good look at the guy but once they determined where he was they did what needed to be done. The poor tree took quite a beating.

I'll forgive them for missing a few times. My only regret is that he didn't suffer more and longer.
