Fat Gitmo prisoners: the shame of it:
Offered a high-calorie diet and kept in their cells almost around the clock, many detainees at Guantanamo Bay are becoming fat.Meals totaling a whopping 4,200 calories per day are brought to their cells — U.S. government dietary guidelines recommend 2,000 to 3,000 calories per day for weight maintenance — and some inmates are eating everything on the menu.
Even with work details, we had the same problem with the German POWs in WWII. They were busting out of their seams by war's end.

3 hots a day, gourmet delicacies no less. Beach front accommodations with cool tropical breezes rather than the oppresive heat of the desert. No pesky battlefield orders from some id10t like Ayman Al Zawahiri to go die fighting the infidels. Prayers 5 times a day with no lookouts to cover your 6 while bowing towards Mecca. A personal copy of the Koran. Gaurds to inflict craftily thought out bedevilments upon being as they have nothing better to do all day/night to do.
The only things missing are women to beat and the young boys or animals to molest.
/sarc .... sorta
