Childish San Francisco Chronicle blog-writer Mark Morford tries his hand at being a radical imam and stir up the jihadis against Apple.
Next week he'll post pics from a French hog-calling contest and say it's people making fun of Mohammed.

Posted by floridacracker at October 11, 2006 12:58 PMAs stupid as everything around that is -- and Morford in the midst of a storm of stupid is pretty much eastern sunrising -- I have to type that that's probably the most coherent thing he has ever written.
Posted by: marc at October 11, 2006 01:45 PMOne Muslim commenter on his site basically told him he was full of shit and asked him why he was doing this. Good question.
Posted by: Donnah at October 11, 2006 01:59 PMOh -- to be clear -- by "coherent", I meant "readable and understandable", not "logical" or "sense making". I like misusing words.
And the answer is: He's doing it to bring attention to Mark Morford, everyone and everything else be damned.
Posted by: marc at October 11, 2006 02:08 PMYes, I understood.
He's certainly succeeded in bringing attention to himself -- and negative and potentially violent attention to Apple. Glad he had fun.
Note that the actual post by MEMRI doesn't even source who exactly is offended, beyond "an Islamic Web site." Then two dozen blogs report the "offense taken by Muslims" as fact.
Medford isn't the only shit-stirrer in the equation.
Posted by: Bill from INDC at October 11, 2006 07:33 PMBill, did you read the comments on the SF Chronicle site?
Posted by: Donnah at October 11, 2006 08:03 PMJust did. I've also read DU, where your fellow Democrats post.
Posted by: Bill from INDC at October 11, 2006 08:09 PMLOL. And what did the batshit-crazy wing of my party have to say?
They'll have to come over and read my interview with his biographer and become enlightened.
