Come and get her, coppers:
Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has refused to cooperate in an investigation about whether she voted in the wrong precinct, so the case will likely be turned over to state prosecutors, Palm Beach County's elections chief said Wednesday.Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson said his office has been looking into the matter for nearly nine months, and he would turn over the case to the state attorney's office by Friday.
...
Knowingly voting in a wrong precinct is a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison, said Mike Edmondson, a spokesman for the state attorney's office in West Palm Beach.
It's a strange tale, with Coulter supposedly not cooperating, and the supervisor of elections refusing to talk to her lawyer either in person or on the phone, instead requiring all communication be in the form of letters.
Posted by floridacracker at November 1, 2006 09:15 PMisn't this the same crew that was/is going after Limbaugh ?
Ann is kinda hot..in a tall, blond sort of way.
Posted by: csason at November 2, 2006 05:58 AMThat is strange behavior from such a normally rational, levelheaded person....
Posted by: marc at November 2, 2006 09:42 AMOoooppppss... If they thought that they 'won' with their case against Rush what's about to happen to them isn't going to be pretty.
Ann's got a ton of guys that will give up every available dollar if she sets up a legal defense fund, not to mention she's a lawyer herself.
Charlie Christ's first official act in office may be replacing two partisan asshats for over reaching their duties and neglecting others.
"Bad form old chap, that just isn't cricket."
Posted by: Gmac at November 2, 2006 01:49 PMAnderson is 100% certified incompetent jackass. Even the (reliably bolshevik) Palm Beach Post views him with scorn these days, and they pimped him the hardest to unseat Lapore.
The dems will be eating their own again after Anderson badly botches this election. Preliminary problems have already cropped up during early voting in Palm Beach. The Post ran an editorial today that treated Anderson with contempt.
