Order Of The Phoenix

The first English-language trailer for the new Harry Potter film is out, and it has two shots of the real star of the series: Severus Snape. They need to crank these films out faster, or in the final one Sev will be looking jowly when he's saving the day.

It's hateful this isn't coming out for Christmas. That's like shooting Santa through the heart with a crossbow. And raping his corpse while Rudolph watches.

did you see daniel radcliffes performance in extra's?

Also, something that I noticed in the trailer. JK, is in constant contact with the writers and the directors, giving character notes, and stuff.

(if people haven't read 6, then skip here)

And you see rickmans performance during occlumancy was hateful, but you can also see that there was a subtly empassioned plea in him while yelling at harry "Then SHOW ME!"

Just like the ron and hermione thing (obvious) in the books, but made far more forthright in the movies.

Not to mention, the fact that snape was teaching harry occlumancy, snape was teaching harry nonverbals, and at the end of HBP he says "not until you learn to keep your mouth shut and your mind closed." and then the character notes that MUST have been shared with JK, says to me without a doubt, snape is gonna be a big superhero ninja in the last book.

I hate to admit that I can't wait for the book, or the movies.

I'm eagerly looking forward to both. I want to know more about Snape's relationship with Lilly. I'm sure he turned against the Deatheaters for her, unworthy wench.

Even though DD told Harry the most important thing he could do is listen to Snape, the kid foolishly blows Snape off at every turn. Harry almost *deserves* to die to acting like that.

No, I haven't seen DR in any other movie that I'm aware of.

I tried a direct link a couple of times, I don't know how to do it on your comment server Donnah.

sorry.

BTW, you know that I have been reading your blog for about 6, prolly more months, and for some reason, though I always read "a southern woman on the 'net" It NEVER registered in my noggin that you were Y-chromosome deficient, until the "I'm a tasty bag of groceries" bit.

Just thought I would toss out that apology of my own ignorance.

Thanks for the link - it was wonderful. I loved Diana Rigg popping up in it. Daniel was hilarious.

Yeah, html's not enabled in the comments. It cuts down on the incentive to spam. It's too bad that people have to cut and paste URLs, but you know how it is about some people spoiling things for everybody else.

A lot of people think I'm a guy, so don't worry about it. Tits on the sidebar just ain't me.

The "groceries" bit was from my husband way back in the day.

I remember Donnah.

I still love that turn of phrase.

Hickish, but also refined.

a perfect combination.

OH OH OH!!!!

My favorite part of the extra's clip?

When daniel did the foot on the chair crotch shot.

CRACKED ME THE F UP!

Also, you know that "willow" is also "flitwick" right?

so when flitwick went after harry, I was laughing the whole time, and the "I'm 17!!!!" thing cracked me up.

Most of the rest was kinda lazy sex jokes, but those friggen killed me.

Yeah, I read about his playing Flitwick.
Daniel was having a great time and it showed.
