Happy Thanksgiving

I hope all y'all have a wonderful day today feasting with people you love, but only if cornbread dressing is being served. Those who are using other types of breading for turkey stuffification are shadow people dwelling outside of the range of human acuity.

Cracker talkin' food...Thanksgiving food !!

This is the first I've even heard there is another dressing..what else do you make it from ?

Here in Texas we call it dressing, but it's always cornbread.

(Don't forget Miracle Whip for the turkey and dresing sandwiches this evening.)

Of the maybe 1000 words or so that I heard my father say, these are etched in my mind forever...

"Your granddaddy prayed at every meal that his children always have enough to eat."

So far it has worked.

I hate to say it, but I left the big block of cornbread sitting on the counter and tried another kind of bread - recommended by my sister-in-law - and yes, I lived to regret it. Not the same. At all.

Don't mess with the cornbread, peoples. It can ruin your Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day. :)

I like the poultry theme in the midst of that line up of tunes and I see no contradiction in devouring turkey to "Freebird".

You got that right on the cornbread dressing - all the rest - ack!

Those a's stand for Alabama....

Glad y'all enjoyed the tunes. With the exception of Duane, these boys weren't much to look at.

It's nice to hear Marshall Tucker sounding so good live. Good musicians will really spoil you for the studio nonsense so prevalent today.
