Florida Sunshine In Syria

I understand our Bill has been a naughty boy. Perhaps Senator Nelson's meeting with Assad was just a brief stop on his journey to deliver to all world leaders a box of delicious Florida citrus.

(Via Sandspur in e-mail.)

UPDATE:
And if he time travels to deliver scrumptious, vitamin-C-packed Florida oranges, what of it?

y'all voted for him..Not me.. so there.

I voted publican all the way...like a hamburger.

But seriously, I have always HATED Nelson. He's so patronizing. Now HE would be worse than Carter in the big seat, I don't care if we did shove him in a can and stick a bomb on it.

No you did not. I know you didn't vote Crist for governor.

How do you know-- Maybe Bill just needed his eyes checked and this was the only place he could get an appointment because we don't have universal healthcare!!

By the way; I'm always for the guy who has the nickname "Chain-gang"

I *noticed* the weird decorations you have out, but puhleeeze don't tell me you have started morphing this place...this hallowed ground, into some yeehaw for liberals ????

Gordon:
Ardolino hasn't said yet if he's going to meet with Assad. I bet he'd have plenty to say to him if he did.

you didn't think I was serious, did you ???

Max ???

uh oh.

Heh, I can say it, I didn't vote for the SOB because even though I'm native, I don't live in FL, at this time...
You guys voted for someone willing to subvert the foreign policies of the President and meet with the leader of a state that has been declared a sponsor of terrorism and he did it despite the protestations of the State Department.
You get to live with your choice for 6 more years, then maybe the Republicans will have someone a bit more astute running against him than the previous freak show.

"You guys..."" wait a sec..

I think I better abandon this one

Ardolino hasn't said yet if he's going to meet with Assad. I bet he'd have plenty to say to him if he did.

Neither one would surprise me.

Ok, ok... Youz guize.
I DID spend 3 years in the Yankee Reeducation camps on Long Island in the '60's. I even sounded like a gomer from the South Bronx, seriously bad Brooklyn dialect, my 5th birthday party tape confirms it. I am so embarrassed I rarely ever mention it.

Yes, *someone*, not pointing fingers here, but *someone* allowed him to have more votes than that princess from Transylvania 90210. Funny how that works ain't it? Now you're stuck with the creep for 6 more embarrassing years.

Assad does not work for free. His demands are simple: the end of Israel, a free hand in Lebanon, the return of the Baath Arab Socialist Party to power in Iraq, and death to America by all means possible.

The real question here is what did Bill Nelson put on the table during his visit?
