They're everywhere, it seems. Go Gators tonight!

UPDATE:
Mary Katherine Ham hates freedom. The nation she would have us live in is full of gray-clad junior automatons, instead of children frolicking happily in the soft, clean blue and orange clothing of the Gator Nation. Her pre-game video is pure propaganda as well.
UPDATE:
Why, who's that leading? It looks like the Gators, 14-7.
UPDATE II:
21-7. :)
24-14.
27-14.
34-14
The Gators DEVOUR Ohio for the first half!
41-14
The Gators are annihilating these guys.
The ones that nobody gave a chance to win are now National Champions!

You can bet there'll be chompin' in THE valley tonite! Wait. That didn't come out right.
Oh, damn. I just meant to say Go Gators!!!!
Posted by: Tammi at January 8, 2007 02:31 PMSorry Gator nation, I gotta root for the Buckeyes since I'm a diehard 'Nole fan. I'd catch too much flack if I rooted for UF.
Posted by: Carl at January 8, 2007 04:33 PMYou can't root for your state? I'm a 'Nole too.
Posted by: Donnah at January 8, 2007 04:54 PMCarl, come over from the dark side...
You'll be in good company and we'll welcome you with open arms... (no knives in the back either)
Gator Nation baby, and those that ain't are Gator Bait.
Posted by: Gmac at January 8, 2007 04:58 PMSlander! My automatons would wear red and black. Sadly, that day seems very far away.
Posted by: marykatharine at January 8, 2007 07:48 PM21 - 7 And the Gators are driving it with "Smashmouth footbal" right at them...
BTW, Jr edition looks super in his SEC Champs hoodie MK :)
Posted by: Gmac at January 8, 2007 09:23 PMHow do you like us now, MK?
Posted by: Donnah at January 8, 2007 10:20 PMIn football in general, and in COLLEGE footbal specificaly, the kind of absolutist guarantee's that were made in the pre-game mean nothing. The teams will deliver or they won't. While OSU ain't out, Florida is actually doing it on the field, the numbers are by far favoring FLA.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at January 8, 2007 11:00 PMMichael at Michaels Comments, mentioned that the only reason everyone was quiet because FLA was WAXING OSU, so I will repeat my comment and link.
This is I think, a highlights real from the game. (there is some significant cussing)

Well, there's no need to anyone to be quiet over the Gators waxing OSU. They should be shouting it from the rooftops.
I loved the close-up of the little Ohio boy crying. :)
Posted by: Donnah at January 9, 2007 12:29 AMThe heismann trophy winner should have been in the fetal at the fifty yard line for his non performance.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at January 9, 2007 12:46 AMI'm not a follower of college football, but in the first quarter, the dual QB aspect was absolutely BRILLIANT!
I mean, the 3 back offense shows up at times in the NFL, but Imagine the affectiveness of vick, if vick lines up, and lets a second QB to take a hike, like a half back hike?
I don't know if that is a common gimmick in college, but really, that just opens up so many doors for offensive guile.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at January 9, 2007 12:48 AMHow sweet it is.
Posted by: Bill from INDC at January 9, 2007 01:08 AMCONGRATULATIONS!!!! Y'alls cheerleaders could have won that game on looks alone!
THIS GEORGIA DAWG IS HONEST ENOUGH TO ADMIT THAT FLORIDA LOOKED FABULOUS! They did the SEC proud! KUMBAYA, or not, MKH, we have to give them their credit.
And yeah MKH,...when Spurrier looks bad, we ALL WIN!
The Richt Dynasty is on the rise! GOOOoooo DAWGS!

Posted by: seejanemom at January 9, 2007 05:22 AMOnly my wife and a few of my friends know that I predicted this since the end of last year. Urban Meyer spoke at a breakfast in Lakeland just before his first season. He said they would go 8-4 the first year (9-4) and an SEC championship the next, well THEY DID ONE GAME BETTER !!!
This must be said : Chris Leak has seasoned into a real Championship quarterback (as have a lot of these players) and there will be no naysayers now.
The SEC is THE toughest conference in town, baby..if you can SURVIVE a season in the SEC, you have done something. Chris has managed to survive four. I love the Florida Gators.
I am leaving for work, I have on orange pants, my official Gator field jacket, a tie-died orange and blue t-shirt, and a real tree GATOR hat, and a SEC Champs hat (yes two hats..one for D-fence, and one for Offense) I will be thumbing my nose at every Nole and treenut I see. 2006 National Champs .
The University of Florida Gators !!!!
Thank you Florida, and Urban Meyer. 41-14. The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Big Ten made a huge mistake.
They thought, along with all the coaches and AP pollsters, that if they just stayed away from the SEC teams, like LSU ( a powerhouse team, up in rankings) and Spurrier's Gamecocks (another great team) that the SEC would just go away.
The price they have paid is NATIONAL humiliation.
In the future, it would really behoove these other conferences if they would stop that waggle, at least until after you have sampled the tempo.
Ohio, like the undefeated team they WERE, had only played a bunch of girl teams..INCLUDING Michigan.
i think I posted this is in the wrong place, sry Donnah.
Posted by: csason at January 9, 2007 06:23 AMHopefully the myth of the superiority of Big 10 Football has finally been put to rest. Hell, they got 11 teams so they can't even count! OSU is now 0-8 against SEC teams.
I'm officially boycotting any show Lee Corso is on now. He's convinced the only reason Florida won is OSU had a 50 day layoff. Hello???? Florida was off almost 40 days! I guess we should expect the former FSU player to be bitter.
Posted by: Hamous at January 9, 2007 09:44 AMFrom what I saw in the bowl games, a playoff would have likely produced a Florida/USC matchup for the national championship. There's no substitute for speed.
Posted by: mike at January 9, 2007 11:16 AMthe bit 10 myh is validated. because everyone else fell apart.
None but they may rule, You proved yourselves as gollam.
(I completely full of crap, cuz college football needs to be seen) but in this case? FS was the last minute hero. OSU is the better team, though they have an ILL-assigned heisman trophy winner.
REALLY what are the voters thinking?
I would say the freshman towe, is that his name, from FLA. ALL BALLS and ALL receptions, GTFOoH!!!!!
FLA outplayed from first to last down.
OH!!!! OSU got a reteurn, yeah, ONCE!!!
FLA won, in every way making the trophy winner inadequate.
You know? I was in the Marine Corps, and I got personal medals, and if I ever failed? I WOULDN't have gotten those medals, thars just how it is.
the previews are of WAR? and they fail? No MEDAL FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!
In fact no medal for the vicat because you played a friggen GAME! but well you get he Award, bt you are NOT WARRIORS
The men who followed me and FC's aspect are warriors, You are just a bunch of money grubbing pricks who want to capitalize on a bowl.
Black Five, Confederate Yankee, and god knows how many others.
YOU are NOT wariors.
I more every day, that I cannot replace them, as do MANY MANY OTHERS!!! of my age.
They who get a chance at a great life, and a prosperous income, are NOT wariors, it is the people who chose service, and surrender prosperous lives, to potect YOU.
I served for 4 years, but EVERYONE who serves now?
ARE NINJA'S KNOWLING full well hat they are better than you, so don't you FUCKING TRY!!! to talking down to them.
I love you brothers., and I know I don't deserve it.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at January 9, 2007 04:20 PMDo what??? Not really getting what you mean Wicked. All I know is that The Gators royally kicked A$$! Now what that has to do with Ninjas, I don't know. Oh well. (sigh).
