Yep, I'm still pissed about Bill O'Reilly's comments about Shawn Hornbeck.

I think these visuals were what was held over Shawn's head. These Federal charges are what has freaked him out the most, evidently. The power of shame in a kid is really something. It's one more thing I don't miss about being young.
I was reading about the lady who's the US Attorney in this case and she was saying they have to do indictments all the time for child porn in MO. I don't even think there are all that many pedophiles around, more like jaded non-pedophiles. That's my theory anyway.
All I can do for the kid is write a check, leave an encouraging note, and include him in my prayers.

Well goody for him.
He will really enjoy the prison system's attention to diabetes mellitus...since he can't get the death penalty. If he doesn't get ass-raped to death by some guy named T-bone, we can all take solace in knowing some 3rd rate surgeon will be trimming his
extremities down over the next few years.

I took care of a lady one time, who was NOT a DNR, but did receive a 'check' once'd a month, courtesy of you and me...
She had had multiple strokes (common for elderly DM) and had *all* of her pesky extremities removed from peripheral vascular insufficiency, secondary to DM.
I asked the family why she wasn't a Do Not Resuccitate (sp, pardon..lazy) and they said, "She speaks, once in a while..."
I took care of her for a week. she never mumbled.
Just try to picture ol Devlin like that...
