Feeling A Little Blue(grass)

Is there anything better than a beautiful song that makes you feel like crap? Yes, there is: two of them.

I have just one word. Legs!

damn guys..Hamous.. she was askin about the tune(s)

That sheer dress ...wow.

j/k

Allison has been a big help to the Peasall's so I have nothing bad to say about the depressing but sweet sounding boogie(s).

besides.. I am in the standard holding pattern

I had a preacher who used to say that country music would make you start missing people you didn't even know :)

Both songs were lovely, but the first dress was just plain silly. Although, I expect it makes it easier to get through airports, carrying her legs in a clear, Zip-Loc bag.

Don't get me wrong, I love Alison's music. She is one of the most talented musicians around. But dang! And don't try and tell me that wasn't the first thing you noticed, csason ;-)

Heh, good quote Nancy. I'm gonna write that one down.

We had a big discussion about the dress the night of the CMAs. As I watched the performance, I mentally noted a lovely song was accompanying Alison's see-through dress.

BTW, the "feel like crap" line was from her. She said the songs that make you feel like crap are the kind she thinks need to be recorded.

I love the comments left in response to these vids on You Tube. The one about how in times past kings would give up half of their kingdoms for an audience with Alison was especially sweet.

Looks like my music and video collection is about to see a growth spurt. I did a YT search and AKUS pulled enough hits to convince me to spend! spend! spend! after I listened to several of them. :) Yes, I saw the legs and was captivated but I was so mesmerized by her voice so they didn't really register.

Well, you know she was a child prodigy on the violin, and it was the reason she was cutting albums at 14. The voice was just an afterthought, something extra God threw in because he was in a good mood. I do feel sorry for the mute angel though.

I'll have you know Hamous, that the very *first* thing I noticed was the dobro picker. *Then* I noticed she had a short dress under her mosquito net.

and Nancy, that is a really good one...

I gigged with a band out of Tampa called Henry Nelson and the Country Singers (creative, huh) and our weekends were spent at a bar in Lakeland called...Westgate.

Over the course of a year I watched a guy shoot his brother (through the door) and a couple hunnert rumbles...

The weird part is, it seemed like the slow songs are what triggered all that crap, usually. Everytime we played 'Feels So Right' by Alabama, somebody got knocked out...or shot at.
