A 38-year-old Hudson man says he was kidnapped Saturday morning, dropped in the woods and then hunted by four men carrying a bow and arrows. The victim told Pasco County sheriff's deputies that he was at a BP gas station at 13703 U.S. 19 between 7 and 8 a.m., when he says he was approached by four males and forced into a vehicle. The man told deputies that he knows two of his attackers because they had previously sold him crack cocaine. The victim's assailants took him to the edge of the woods and let him out of the vehicle.
"You better run, we're going to get you," the attackers reportedly said before aiming at the man. The victim told deputies that he could see arrows hitting the ground around him as he ran and that he was sure he was going to die. The men followed him throughout the day and night.
The victim finally found his way out of the woods Sunday around 5 p.m. and flagged someone down along Dixie Highway to ask for help, according to sheriff's deputies. The victim was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. No arrests have been made.
You'd think four guys would have been able to bag that old buck crackhead, but maybe they were high.
Posted by floridacracker at June 18, 2007 07:43 PMno shit,
In highschool one kid was angry at another kid who stole the first kids girlfriend.
The first kid tried to run the second kids ass down with his car, and his car got stuck in a rather large arborial park (wooded park, not really arborial but thats what the principle said) we had outside our highschool.
When the car got stuck, the first kid got out of his car, while the second kid ran to his car and opened the trunk.
The first kid freaked out, ran back to his car, and tried to get his car out, and finaly managed to get it out of the dirt and mud, and he tried to run down the second kid again.
Meanwhile the second kid, pulled out a friggen bow, and shot two friggen arrows at the car of the first kid.
There were about a thousand other kids waiting to get into school!! (this was in the morning!)
Definately a surreal scene.
Gig this, about a year later I got expelled for saying that a teacher got off and wiggled in her seat whenever she sent me to the office.
The guy with the bow, and the guy who tried to run down a fellow student?
3 days suspension.
no shit.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at June 18, 2007 11:32 PMWasn't this a movie with Ice-T and Gary Busey called "Surviving the Game"?
Posted by: Cindy at June 18, 2007 11:48 PMIt was also a short story from the 1920's.
Posted by: Wickedpinto at June 19, 2007 12:52 AMSounds like a low-brow version of "The Most Dangerous Game" -- minus the classy safari suits and ascots. Yes, the jungle is home to many ferocious and deadly beasts, but none quite so cunning and dangerous as MAN. (Crack-heads? Eh, not so much).
Wickedpinto: The purpose of school is to provide an education. The lesson you learned on that day, is that while justice may be blind, it is also often self-medicated. Mission acomplished.

This horrifying game was depicted in brutal accuracy in Mystery Science Theater 3000's "Blood Lust."

Posted by: CJ at June 19, 2007 12:45 PMDamn, I missed bow season on crackheads again.
This story was one we read in 7th grade at Bayshore Elementary.. and then again in a couple different movies.
The one I remember had the couple dancin and partying all cool...the night before, they passed out and woke up in cages. Then the cage door opened and a note was there that explained they were the game in the greatest big game hunt of their lives.
