Castles In The Air

After going to watch the launch of the space shuttle, we came home and watched the original 1979 version of The Lathe of Heaven. It reminded Mr. Cracker of An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, except for it didn't have Yankees summarily executing civilians. Serendipitously I found a copy of Owl Creek online. I imagine it's been a long time since most of you've seen it.

What always bugs me about stuff like that is it makes me wonder if I am really in a dream..or worse, that I wake up and reality is really bad.. like I am in an alien eggshell or something like that.

I did the right thing and Netflixed both versions..still bugging about LOST being over.

An 'alien eggshell'. That's pretty good.

The new version has Lisa Bonet in it. I think she has it put into her movie contracts that she must show her titties, not sure.

Wow. That's all I can say. I'd never heard of this movie. Incredible. Thanks for posting this.
