Respect The 'Stache

What an odd video this is. There's a guy doing his vocals live, yet there's no on-site audio booth packed with computer software to help him sound as good as he did, say, when he was in a professional recording studio having his voice redistributed and modulated with the state of the art computer software there. He can just, like, sing wherever and it'll sound great. Huh:

Not only that, but those invisible mikes for the drums and the backup singers are awesome. Awesomely invisible, that is.

I'm pretty sure that many of the notes they're pretending to play are actually in the song.

His vocals are live, Chris, and that's what I'm referring to. He's not doing the recorded version of ETBH -- with his pipes he doesn't need to.
Here's a concert vid:

And the violinists playing crouched down behind the cars.

But the vocals are live. I’ve heard that song for years but you don’t really appreciate it until the guy’s in your face, making those sounds come out. Great band.

I love a truly talented singer. One that'll sound just as good on a sidewalk as they do on a record. This guy's voice is like velvet.

And here I thought you were being sarcastic. Where would I get that idea?
