Thank you Donnah. I couldn't have taken another week without my Duane mid week fix.

Posted by: cindy at October 17, 2007 02:58 PMYep, another fine shot from the '71 Whiskey show. The original photographer sells quality reprints from the original negatives on eBay. I've got a couple in my guitar room.
Posted by: mike at October 17, 2007 04:07 PMThat's Elizabeth Reed without a doubt..;) at least that is what my double super secret imagination is saying..
It also says Donnah is a class act.

Owen- I've missed one Wednesday in FOUR YEARS. Felt good too.
Posted by: Donnah at October 17, 2007 05:42 PMYou go girl.
Great pic of Duane and HotLanta ....you can really see the flame in that Les Paul in this pic ....Duane was having a receding hairline issue going on ...I wonder what he would have looked like had he lived a few years longer ...however like so many other legends ..he died forever young ...
Posted by: Greg Henderson at October 19, 2007 05:32 AMOoooooh, Aaaaaaaaah!
Always enjoy pics from this set. Such crisp shots that give you a clear snapshot of Duanes face flashing his feeling there and on down to his hands pouring it out through that sweet guitar.
Love them real nice shots of the guitars, too. Beautiful things to look at.
geez.. Paco, are you pandering ??
Out of the dark, listless void the lone slideman
steps..his flaming 59 in hand.
His brow glistens of passion for his one true love..
the music born of man..
