Lilly stayed like this for a half an hour. It was so sad.
I think that dogs get a special buzz just smelling stuff...it has to be similar to crack, they do it soooo much.
Isn't she missing a front limb, Donnah..?? She is just practicing good manners as far as I see. Typical for a shepherd, imo...they have excellent manners and habits.
She's missing one back leg, the other back leg isn't normal, and her hindquarters are withered. She was physically incapable of snatching that chicken, otherwise I think she surely would have.
What works very well is her jaws. She steals canned goods from the pantry, crunches the cans in her jaws, then sucks the food out through the holes.
People laugh, but when I told them *my* shepherd
liked to play with his dog food (meaning I gave
him the raw can occasionally) they just looked at me..
He loved it. You have to realize he was 109 lbs. at his peak..very large for a shepherd, very tall also.
I really miss Bruno, they only come along like that once in a while.
Thanks. Nice to see you (here) too.
