Posted by: richard at January 24, 2008 01:09 AMI can't tell. Is his cigarette lit? Looking for a lighter? slide? a moist towelette?
Posted by: Willard at January 24, 2008 10:03 AMLOL. I was trying to figure out what it could be too.
Posted by: Donnah at January 24, 2008 10:09 AMI am sure it was his slide..you can't put the fine
crystaline cylinder of the eons in your pocket..What kind of legend would do something like that ??
Now I DO have a shirt like that one..!! (wish I had a guitar like that one..:( )
Thanks Donnah.
Posted by: csason at January 24, 2008 08:14 PMIm with Willard... doesnt look lit, prob goin for a lite.
Tho it could possibly be that the show hasnt started and hes walking out with the SG for the opening 'Statesboro Blues' and needs to dig out the coricidin slide (i dont see anyone at the drums behind him and a Roadie setting up stuff in the background)
Thanks for another good one, Donnah!
Posted by: Ben at January 24, 2008 09:24 PMcmon...can't y'all see that magic bag he's reaching into..I heard it was made from the Queen of England's leftover crown cleaning cloths..but that may be a rumor.
;)
I'm with csason -- I think he's going for his slide.
Posted by: Paco Malo at January 25, 2008 11:33 AMDonnah,
FYI...I think you linked to Lenin's Tomb before (it's on your blogroll). He's now "Those Fascists." It's a great visit, and I'm pretty sure I found it via you.
Posted by: CJ at January 25, 2008 11:41 AMNice CJ, but I think that post belongs in the Political opinion piece below..
;)
Posted by: csason at January 25, 2008 04:33 PMAw, csason, don't let the name trick you.
There's nothing political about the site I mentioned. I only put it up here because it's the most recent post and our friendly blogger might more likely catch it. You know she can be hard to catch.
Where oh where do you find these wonderful pictures? SKYDOG FOREVER!!!
