Day Of Exactly One Stevie

I've heard someone around here has a thing for tambourine-playing girls. This cute one could use some attention here; she appears to be being ignored:

Saw them at the Capital Center in 1979 - not sure anyone was ignoring her then. I did notice Buckingham's vocals were more grating than usual but he could play better than I expected. This recent story about Sheryl Crow getting together with Fleetwood Mac, I'm wondering why, if it happens.

That may have been me with the tamborine comment. I was a little kid at a period when girls with long, long, stick-straight hair, granny glasses and ponchos were the fashion. People made macrome (however it's spelled--kind of like knitting with rope), God's Eyes, drove VW Busses and sewed american flag patches into the ass of their Levis. And the girl who had no talent but slept with the lead singer and bass player of the band would play tamborine.

I don't miss those days, but there's some residual that makes me smile when I see some of that in old movies or photos.
