Via Mike, another from the cold and windswept giant rock photofest.
Wail on, Skydog!
And from Robert, a terrific new article at the Gibson site on the incredible guitarists of the ABB.
Thanks Mike and Robert!
I can tell why this pic never got much traction...the photographer must have been gay.
Otherwise, that rock now has a place in history, and it should be damn glad.
Thanks Mike..and Donnah..and Duane..(and the gay camera guy/rock setup) for the Wednesday pic.
Looks like the Grand Canyon.
Posted by: Mike The Bike at April 17, 2008 10:07 AMDuane looks like he is waiting for Bobby Sherman to come by and sing a duet. (Easy Come, Easy Go) I think this picture is the reason Duane had such low regard for photographers.

I found this site and thought if you and/or any of your readers haven't seen this, it's a great read about the ABB and Duane and all the guitarists that have come and gone there. It also features a 10 minute clip of the original ABB doing Whipping Post. Intense would be an understatement.
Keep up the good work. Hope y'all enjoy the clip.
