I met (I had a crush on his sisters) who was buddies
with Dickey..They grew up together.
His name was Mike and he had a red SG (or it could have been a junior)..the first Gibson I ever handled.
The reason I brought all THAT up is that it is kind of weird..Dickey would (is) have been a huge phenom in his own right....even without the ABB.
Not many kids crawled out of the Manatee woods with a 'born with' talent like that..It must have been a real thrill for Duane.
